' Headwaters’ newest program, Next Step, has had a significant impact on local youth in its two short years. As Charlie Spiering reported in the Rappahannock News recently (“Next Step Shows Big Results,” 12//13/06), the rate at which graduates of the class of 2006 enrolled in college or trade school increased substantially over the previous year, to over 72%. This makes 2006 a tough act to follow, but the class of 2007 appears to be on track with some stellar accomplishments.
