Bob’s latest endeavors involve two major projects.
He is currently the chairman of the Court House Grounds Improvement Project which not only includes sprucing up the landscape but restoring the Civil War Monument erected nearby. That beautification project will get a boost this spring when additional work is done.
Bob is a history buff.
He is also the current president of the Scrabble School Foundation. Bob was instrumental in coming up with a plan and securing grants to turn the empty and neglected Scrabble School into a senior center and museum. Now, there’s an application for National Historic Register designation and architectural plans in process that will breathe new life into not only the building but to all the lives and history associated with it.
