Nixon said she thinks the school’s new proposal will put those concerns to rest.
“What they had recommended is that we need to be on a main artery, and you can’t get any more main than Route 522,” Nixon said. “So we’re expecting that will take care of the problems.”
The property is zoned for agricultural use, and will remain as a farm for the purposes of the farm school.
“I’m grateful that here’s a small piece of Rappahannock land that gets to remain a farm,” Glier said. “We’ll be there for a long time to come.”
