Volunteerism ranks as a full-time occupation for many. This year's selection goes to a dynamic individual who i.-' quick to spread the wealth when it comes to community kudos and shuns the spotlight but clearly he shines. Bob’s charming ways and gregarious nature are often the spark plug for numerous fund raising activities, recruiting talented youngsters for the annual Bland Concert, working with the Boy Scouts, seeking out auction items, delivering apple butter, being a leader in his
church community, or starting new groups like The Court House Grounds Improvement Project or The ocrabble School Foundation
You might catch Bob having philosophical or practical discussions with his buddies at breakfast over at The Country Cafe or talking conservation with various environmentally
minded residents or greeting a visiting pastor or smiling broadly over the new plantings at the cuiirt house. Bob, your untiring efforts in so many facets of this
community have not gone unnoticed. This recognition
celebrates your caring, your commitment and your good inttuitions for so many that you truly cherish.
