Photo Dy Don Audette YESTERYEAR: The Sperryville 1909 bridge was at the east end of Water Street, now marked with a Road Closed sign and a pile of wood chips in front of it. Beyond the sign, the bridge crossed the North Fork of the Thornton River at an angle to the right to join what is now Mount Vernon Private Lane.
