The public will have a chance to hear the awardwinning Kid Pan Alley Band on Friday, May 1 at two concerts 1:30 p.m. and 7 p.m., at the Rappahannock County Elementary School.
Featuring songs written with the children and seniors of Rappahannock County, the band includes Paul Reisler, Steve Van Dam, Andy Waldeck, Nate Brown, John D’earth, Mark Maynard and Siobhan Quinn along with the children of Rappahannock and a few special guests.
For more information call the elementary school (540) 987-8259.
Admission is free, but donations are gratefully accepted as this is a large and expensive undertaking each year, according to Paul Reisler, founder of Kid Pan Alley.
“We try to bring the program back to Rappahannock County each year as this is where it was bom,” he said.
