Dog Attack
The Rappahannock County Sheriffs Office responded to a report of an 11-year-old girl being attacked by a dog on April 14 at 5:29 p.m. The incident occurred while the young victim visited her friend on Scrabble Road in Rappahannock County. The incident took place inside the home. The dog was a oneyear-old pit-bull, which was a family pet.
The victim received severe bite wounds to her face, neck, arms, and legs. As officers responded to the scene, the dog continued to attack the victim.
