“It's Academic” is a televised high school academic show filmed at NBC affiliate WRC 4.
This marked the first time in the history of Rappahannock County High School’s Scholastic Bowl team that it made an appearance on the Washington. D.C.-based show.
“This has been an endless Cinderella season for us,” Rappahannock County head coach David Naser said.
The Panthers won the Group A State Scholastic Bowl championship in late February, after also capturing their first Bull Run District and Region B titles.
They will compete in the High School National Championship Tournament May 29-31 in Chicago.
