The 2009 elections present a great opportunity, starting with the June primaries. Pin candidates down on their positions on climate, on a carbon tax, on higher prices for gasoline and electricity, and on the ethics of allowing a regulated company to contribute money to its government regulators. Then support those who will do the right thing.
Don’t be fooled by greenwash. Virginia needs a governor and legislature with the knowledge and guts to ensure a safe climate outcome.
