As the clock ticks down to post time for the May 2 Kentucky Derby, we caught up with Edward P. “Ned” Evans, whose Quality Road is headed toward the Triple Crown kickoff as one of the early favorites.
His runaway victory in the two-turn Florida Derby gives the Virginia-bred an edge.
