Warren Buffet recently noted that he paid less taxes on an income of $46 million than his secretary paid on an income of $60,000. With a flat tax we can get the tax form down to one page, with instructions on the back. Each taxpayer simply pays tax based on income. But, you can’t expect a flat tax policy through this government. That would mean giving up much of the power to make winners and losers through taxation.
