It was not only a picture-perfect weather day for the Fodderstack 10-K race, but also a very successful one.
The crow ds came out to cheer the runners, walkers, and baby carriage pushers. Guess what - no dogs on the race course this year - thanks to all participants.
There were 338 folks who registered for the race. Some 315 of them started the race and 305, who were timed, crossed the finish line. We also had four delightful ladies from Washington, D.C. who were just out for a great walk and finished without a time.
As far as we know, everyone showed up at the new 9 o’clock starting time Saturday morning, no one fell on the partially graveled streets of Washington and no mistakes were made in our
