Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse Services is currently seeking a part-time (20 hours per week) licensed Clinical Psychologist to serve as an independent examiner in the involuntary mental health commitment process. Will conduct psychological evaluations and must demonstrate good risk assessment skills, possess excellent written/oral communication skills and have the ability to work efficiently under time constraints. Schedule coincides with hearings that are held dunng the morning hours and work sites include the Mental Health Center and Inova Loudoun Hospital in Leesburg Requires a Doctoral degree in Psychology with three years professional experience in mental health and/or substance abuse treatment. Must be licensed in Virginia as a Clinical Psychologist. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of criminal background check, driving record check, credit check and TB test.
