Sept. 3, Harold B. Estes of Lignum was taken from the home of William Estes to Warren Memorial Hospital by the Washington Rescue Squad. Roger Sentz was transported from his home in '$Tiger Valley to Fauquier Hospital by the same unit on Sept. 10.
Sept. 15, Raymond Mahoney was taken from his home to Warren Memorial Hospital by the Flint Hill Rescue Squad. Larry Welch of Flint Hill was taken from an auto accident on Rt. 659 west of Flint Hill to Warren Memorial Hospital. The Flint Hill brush truck also assisted at the accident, which occurred Sept. 16. On Sept. 18, Horace Pullen was transported from Front Royal to his home in Flint Hill. The Flint Hill Fire Dept, responded to a call to a field fire at the Mahoney residence in Huntly which turned out to be a false alarm.
Mrs. Marjorie Ruskin was taken from her home in Sperryville to Culpeper Memorial Hospital on Sept. 21 by the Sperryville Rescue Squad. This unit transported Melvin Baldwin from the home of Bernard Jenkins near Sperryville to Culpeper Memorial Hospital on Sept. 22.
