Recent visitors in the Sam North home were Arthur Curry and Mrs. Lucy Brown of Baltimore, Mrs. Laura Beatty of Rockville, Russell Curry of Washington, D.C., and Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Larry of Strasburg. Stewart North of Marshall was Sunday dinner guest.
Mr. and Mrs. James Fox and children are home following a three week trip west when approximately 6000 miles were covered through 18 states. Relatives were visited in Louisiana, Arizona, and Colorado where they were guests of Mrs. Foxes’ mother, Mrs. Betty David, in Alamosa, Colo. They visited friends in Nebraska and Illinois, toured the Denver Zoo; and experienced temperatures ranging from 20 degrees in Crede, Colo., to 108 degrees in Phoenix, Ariz.
Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Cain had as Sunday evening dinner guests the latter’s cousins, Mrs. Hope Proffitt of Arlington and Mrs. Maude Coffey of Roseland.
