EDISON COMPANY CUSTOMERS
The State Corporation Commission will hold a public hearing in the Circuit Courtroom, Winchester City Hall, Winchester, Virginia, on Thursday, October 13, 1977, from 2:00—4:30 P.M. and from 7:30—9:30 P.M. for the purpose of receiving customer comments on The Potomac Edison Company’s proposed rate increase. The Potomac Edison Company applied for a permanent increase in electric rates on May 31, 1977, and the application is now under consideration by the State Corporation Commission. The proposed increase has been suspended pending action by the Commission. Statements received in Winchester will be part of the record upon which the Commission bases its decision.
The Commission encourages any person wishing to make a statement at the hearing to contact the office of the Frederick County Administrator in Winchester, Virginia, to be assigned an approximate time for presenting a statement. The Administrator’s office may be reached at (703) 667-2365 between 9:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M., Monday thru Friday. Collect calls cannot be accepted. Those appearing are also encouraged to state their views in writing for submission to the Commission.
