The newly organized Rappahannock County Jaycees met Thursday evening, Sept. 22, at Hampton Inn. Officers elected for the next calendar year were Doug Baumgardner, President; Butch Eastham, State Director; Dean Hahn, Secretary; and Jim Cannon, Treasurer.
The Jaycees discussed a number of ideas for community projects and welcome suggestions from the community.
The next membership meeting of the Jaycees will be held Oct. 27. A meeting of the Jaycees’ Board of Directors will be held on October 13 at 7:30 p.m. at Doug Baumgardner’s office in Washington. Any interested Jaycee or any person interested in joining the Jaycees is invited to be at the Board of Directors meeting.
