Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Calvert of Falls Church were houseguests of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Fairfax from last Thursday until Monday. Joining them for dinner on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Everett Cortwright and Mrs. Carrie Long of Orlean. Perry Wright of Beltsville, Md., visited Mr. and Mrs. Fairfax Monday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Weakley spent Monday through Wednesday in Fairview Beach where they were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Marcel Pfalzgraf. While there, they attended a house and garden tour that is being presented in the Fredericksburg area.
Mr. and Mrs. Wade Settle of Flint Hill called on her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Luther Payne, Wednesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Jenkins, Kim and T. J. of Culpeper visited Mr. and Mrs. Payne Sunday.
Mrs. Ethel Ramey of Slate Mills was a Sunday overnight guest of her uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Updike.
Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Loring Anderson, Sr. were Mr. and Mrs. John M. Anderson, Michael and Jennifer of Fairfax. Mrs. Lorraine McAllan of Arlington and Mr. and Mrs. Loring Anderson, Jr., Karen Sue and Ernest of Culpeper.
C. Cletus Burke of Front Royal was a Wednesday luncheon guest of Mr. and Mrs. Charles C. Burke.
Mrs. Gladys Andrews of Kernersville, N. C., who has been visiting her son and family, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Andrews, left Wednesday morning for Albany, N. Y.. where she will visit her daughter.
