Final PTA

Meeting

A special video-tape presentation will highlight the final meeting for this school year of the Rappahannock Elementary PTA on Tuesday, May 2, at 7:30 p.m. in the elementary auditorium. Margaret Ann Wayland and Bobbie Powers have filmed their reading lab and physical education programs on video-tape cassettes. Three TVs will be set up in the auditorium so that parents can see a demonstration of students at work with sophisticated reading lab equipment and at play in physical education class learning gross motor skills. In addition, Judy Bomberger will describe her music program.

Superintendent of Schools Dr. William Bloomer will present his assessment of the strengths and weaknesses of the school system after nearly a year on the job. Major item of business on the agenda for the final PTA meeting is the election of officers for the coming year.
