Members of the Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad who recently attended a CPR course conducted by the American Red Cross at the Amissville fire house were Cecil Baldwin, Julian Brown, Walter R. Lillard, Mary Marocchi and Donald Gore.

On Sunday, April 23, the Sperryville Rescue Squad made three runs. This unit was called to The Shade on Rt. 621, but their services were not used. Afterwards, they carried Ted Arlo of New York from the Exxon station in Sperryville to Page Memorial Hospital. Earl Wayland was taken from his home in Sperryville to Culpeper Memorial Hospital.

On April 10, the Washington Rescue Squad transported Vernon Leake from Skyway Motel in Sperryville to Culpeper Memorial Hospital. On April 17, this unit carried Ed Freeman of Washington from the Rappahannock Clinic to Dr. Manwaring’s office in Warrenton for treatment. On the same day, this squad took
