Cadette Girl Scout Troop No. 502 of Rappahannock participated in a service project Saturday for the recreation center at Washington. With the help of W. H. Lyne and his truck, the girls dug and picked up rocks from the rec center grounds. Rocks had damaged Mr. Lyne’s mower last year costing $286 in repair for it. Even though another group had removed some of the rocks, the girls gathered a half a truck load. When the work was finished, a picnic lunch was followed by a game of softball.
