The question raised by Dawson is whether subdivisions containing lots over 25 acres in size must be rezoned. Baumgardner maintained that the county must determine which takes precedence—the zoning ordinance which apparently omits 25-acre subdivisions from the rezoning requirement or section 6-8-1 of the subdivision ordinance which calls for rezoning of all subdivisions that have five or more lots.
