Rappahannock County Farmers wishing to participate in the Feed Grain and Wheat Set-Aside Programs will have an additional two weeks to sign up.
The sign-up for the setaside program has been extended from May 1 through May IS, 1978.
It is very important that any one growing wheat, corn, barley or grain sorghum contact the ASCS office and make an application of intention to participate in the Wheat and Feed Grain SetAside Program. Failure to participate in the Set-Aside program will result in a producer being ineligible for the low yield disaster program, commodity loans and deficiency payments.
