G. N. “Joe” Williams, general contractor of Chester Gap, recently received his State Registered Contractor’s Certificate. By state law, all contractors bidding on projects over $30,000 or doing a volume of business in excess of $200,000 per year must be state registered.

Each contractor must furnish satisfactory evidence of his qualifications and ability to the State Registration Board for contractors before a certificate is issued.

Mr. Williams has working experience in all phases of residential building. He has worked in remodeling, restoration, new construction, cabinet making and furniture making.
