Wade Jefferson Pullen, 70, of Flint Hill died Sunday, May 20, 1979 in Warren Memorial Hospital, Front ! Royal.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Flint Hill United Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. Vickie E. Pittard. Interment was in the Flint Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Pullen was born in Rappahannock County, July 24, 1908, son of Mrs. Mary Brady Pullen of Flint Hill and the late Edgar Pullen. He was a member of the Flint Hill United Methodist Church and the Flint Hill Volunteer Fire Department. He was a retired employee of Aileen, Flint Hill.
Surviving are his wife Alice Putnam Pullen; two daughters, Alice Virginia Butler of Front Royal and Mary Frances Bywaters of Flint Hill; two brothers, Herbert and Haywood Pullen, both of Washington; a sister, Mrs. J. E. Ellmore of Amissville and four grandchildren.
Active pallbearers were Jack Curtis, Pat Biggs, Wayne Walker, Tommy Eastham, M. H. Brady Jr. and Haywood Griffith.
