Stuart Eiland and Washington craftsman Peter Kramer signed partnership papers on Monday, forming Kramer and Eiland Woodworking.
Eiland, a resident of Flint Hill, has worked in Kramer’s furniture shop for two and a half years as a cabinet maker. Previously, he operated his own business for a year, making wooden accessory items for sale to craft shops.
In addition to building the nationally marketed furniture designed by Kramer, the partnership will handle custom millwork, furniture repairs, built-in furniture and cabinets and sale of furniture-grade hard and soft woods. The shop will continue at its present location on the corner of Gay and Porter Streets in Washington.
