Kramer indicated he would ask the supervisors at their June 7 meeting to advertize for a public hearing on the rezoning at their July 5 session in order to get approvals through in the shortest possible time.
Kramer elaborated on his long range plans for the old mill property in an interview on Friday. If the rezoning is approved and the sales contract is finalized, step one will be to secure both the mill and the old Tastee Freeze snack bar from further damage by weather and vandals. This will mean, said Kramer, cleaning out the trash and repairing broken windows at the snack bar and replacing weather board and steps and cleaning out honeysuckle and scrub tress at the mill.
