The Delaplane Strawberry Festival will be held Sunday, May 27 from 1 to 5 p.m. This year the main ingredient of success, fresh strawberries and ice cream, will be provided in great quantities.

The tenth anniversary of Virginia Hunt Country Thoroughbred Stable Tour will be this Saturday and Sunday, May 26 and 27. Outstanding stables will offer the public an opportunity to see stakes winning brood mares and their 1979 foals, yearlings and other racing prospects, race horses in training for major U. S. tracks, impressive stallions with upper bracket stud fees, show horses and three-day event horses trained for dressage, stadium jumping and cross country.
Tour guests will also be able to watch horses swim in the Middleburg Equine Swimming Center located directly across from the Middleburg Training Track—both open to early visitors between 8 and 10:30 a.m.
