Beef Cow-Calf Producers are invited to a twilight beef calf health management demonstration at Jim Massie’s Meadow Grove Farm Wednesday, August 29, at 6 p.m. Paxton Jordan, Cutler Laboratories, will demonstrate how to implant steer calves with Ralgro, how to worm, and treat for IBR and PI3 and the use of spoton treatment for lice and grub control.
Dinner will be served after the demonstration, compliments of Cutler Laboratories. Meadow Grove Farm is located three miles south of Ben Venue on Route 729.
Beekeepers - Over the past few years, local interest in beekeeping has increased tremendously. And the Northern Piedmont Beekeepers Association continues active support of educational programs to help both experienced and beginning beekeepers, such as the workshop schedule for Saturday, September 1.
