Leavell
Funeral services for Edmund Ray “Bus” Leavell, 55, of Staunton were held Tuesday at the Henry Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. Temple D. Myers and the Rev. Charles G. Leavell. Burial was in the Amissville Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Leavell died Friday, August 17, 1979 of a heart attack. The Augusta County native was an employee of Valley Paving, Inc. The Leavell family had at one time resided in Amissville. and are related to the Luttrel! family.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Francis Davis of Falls Church and Mrs. Frank Barber of Arlington.
Mr. Leavell was a member of the First Baptist Church and was a Navy Veteran of World War II.
