Gourmet Experience

In addition to this, Eugster has goats which she milks every day. They roam free over her property, and come galloping up to be milked when she calls them. Eugster drinks the milk herself, though she realizes that many people are afraid of fresh milk straight from the cow, not to mention the goat, and will refuse to drink it.

When Nethers was “The Nethers Community School", Eugster recounts, the children who came everyday were offered the milk to drink with their lunches, but some flatly refused, preferring to bring milk from home.

One day. some mischievous pupils replaced one little boy’s pasturized milk with goat milk. They then proceeded to wait breathlessly while the unsuspecting “guinea pig” took a large gulp of what he thought was cow’s milk. With a shriek, he spat it out, spotting the difference at once and he became very upset.
