Mr. and Mrs. Ray T. Cannon spent several days in Lancaster, N.H., with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Powell and family, and attended the christening of David Powell, grandson of the Cannons. Miss Donna Cannon, who spent the summer in New Hampshire working in summer stock theatre, returned home with her parents.
Mrs. David Streagle was in King George Friday evening and was accompanied home by her daughter, Shannon, who spent last week with Mr. and Mrs. James White. Shannon was an overnight' guest Saturday and spent Sunday with Candy Todd at the home of Mr. and Mrs. G. E. Doyle.
Mrs. Sarah Latham joined by Mrs. Eva Smith of Flint Hill had dinner Saturday evening at Dan’s Steak House near Luray.
