I would like to convey a message to the PEOPLE OF RAPPAHANNOCK COUNT'f. Please believe that my failure to appear door-to-door and conduct an ALL-OUT campaign for COMMISSIONER OF THE REVENUE is NOT due in any way to a lack of interest on my part in the PEOPLE, in the ELECTION, or in the JOB itself.
The duties to be performed and the responsibilities in connection with being DEPUTY COMMISSIONER OF THE REVENUE prevent me from conducting this type of campaign. I am fully aware of my obligations to the taxpayers of this COUNTY and shall continue to be so if I am elected this November.
