Leake and sons were Sunday afternoon visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Woodson Leake in Sperryville.
On Wednesday, September 19, at 6:30 p.m. there will be a meeting of all girls ages 919 interested in joining 4-H for 79-80, at the home of Mrs. Hubie Gilkey. The meeting will consist of electing officers and the discussion of projects.
Mr. and Mrs. Butch Sealock were visited by her mother, Mrs. Isabelle Irwin and her brother, David Cameron, both of Front Royal on Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Lilly and children visited Mrs. Oliver Lilly and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Lilly and family in Bunker Hill, W. Va. Sunday.

Mrs. John Williams has returned home from Warren Memorial Hospital and is recuperating nicely at home.
Visiting Mr. and Mrs. Hubie Gilkey Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Joe Bowers and Joey of Front Royal. Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Department will be having shooting matches each Friday at 7 p.m. at the carnival grounds, 12 gauge guns only. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Cheney of Front Royal were honored with an anniversary dinner at Cedarloft recently, hosted by his sisters, Mrs. Philip Moore, Mrs. Shirley Shelton and Mrs. Bessie Parks. Others present were Mr. Moore and Mrs. Myrtle Chastain. Mrs. Shirley Shelton returned home Saturday after spending a few days with her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Shelton in Winchester. Mrs. Flora Hamblen Rhudy returned home Saturday after spending some time in Atlanta, Ga. and Rogersville, Tenn.
