The spectacle of their plunging through the mud, muck and filth with shovel, broom and bare hands; their lifting heavy ruined stove, refrigerator, freezer and damaged furniture; the loading and hauling of endless truckfuls of debris to the dump—when men of stfdh tealiber and achieverrient are not afraid to handle the sewage of devastation for the sake of their fellow beings, we know that the Golden Rule is still functioning.
It bodes well for the future of this blessed and beautiful land of Rappahannock that we have the work and influence of such men as these in our county.
