Tour Planned
A “Walking Tour of Washington” will be sponsored by the Rappahannock Historical Society on Saturday, September 22. There will be three toprs, at one, three and five o’clock. The price is $1.50 per person, with special rates for organized groups.
Tour guides will conduct the walks, telling about original owners, buildings now demolished and stories of the ‘old times’.
Persons wishing to take the tours should meet at the Rappahannock Historical building on Gay Street at one of the appointed times.
Bus Trip
The pastor and congregation of the First Baptist Church, Washington will be conducting evening services at the Little Fork Baptist Church, Cartersville, Sunday September 16. Friends and other churches are invited to join.
The regular services at First Baptist will be at 10 a.m. The bus will leave the church at 11 a.m., donations are $7.00 for adults and $3.00 for children.
