Mortimer M. Marshall, 1 founder of Marshall Funeral 1 Service in Culpeper died Friday, September 7, 1979, of a heart ^tack.

Graveside services were held Tuesday at Culpeper National Cemetery conducted by the Rev. W. A. Williams.

Mr. Marshall, a native of Culpeper, returned to the area in 1932 to operate the funeral home after a varied career, including time as an employee of the FBI.

He is survived by two sons, Mortimer M. Marshall Jr. and Lewis West Marshall, both of Reston and seven grandchildren.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made in the form of contributions to the Mortimer M. Marshall Memorial Scholarship Fund, in care of the Fidelity American Bank, P. O. Box 271, Culpeper, Va.
