Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Manson and Amelia returned home last Tuesday after spending several days at Nags Head, N. C., where they were joined by Mrs. Manson’s brother, Joseph Carney and family of Portsmouth. The Mansons attended the “Country Supper,” Saturday evening at the home of Sen. and Mrs. John Warner in Atoka.
Mrs. Clyde Roark and Mrs. Gusta Watkins, both of Halifax arrived Wednesday to spend the week with Mrs. George Bentley. Mrs. Mary Updike was released Friday from Martha Jefferson Hospital, Charlottesville and is convalescing at home.
