BEGINNING DATES Sept 18 ADULT BASIC EDUCATION (ABE) NO CHARGE Continuously Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6 45-9 15 p m Classes for those who have not completed high school ABE will also allow students to prepare for the GED exam Sept 18 HIGH SCHOOL COMPLETION COURSES TO BE Tuesday and Thursday evenings 6:45-9 45 p m (108 ANNOUNCED hours) Minimum age 20 years Sept 18 HEALTH ASSISTANT $30 00 Tuesday evenings 6:45-9:45 p m (45 hours) Basic nursing fundamentals for job entry skills for Nurses Aides and Orderlies Sept 18 SEWING $30.00 Tuesday evenings 6:45-9 45 p m (10 weeks) Fundamentals of garments Sept 20 CLERK-TYPING I $30.00 Thursday evenings 6:30-10:00p.m. (17 weeks) To train students to hold certain jobs in clerical business occupations Beginning typewriting and office procedures Sept 18 ACCOUNTING! $30 00 Tuesday evenings 6:30-10:00 pm (17 weeks) Introduction to the bookkeeping cycle and accounting problems Sept 18 WELDING $30 00 Tuesday evenings 6 :45-9:45 p m (10 weeks) Basic mig and tig welding for beginners Sept 20 WELDING $30 00 Thursday evenings 6:45-9:45 p m (10 weeks) Basic stick welding and oxyacetylene welding and cutting - (includes farm and home repair) Sept. 18 ELECTRONICS $30 00 Tuesday evenings 6:45-9:45 p m (10 weeks) Individual instruction at any level of electronic theory from beginning to advanced Sept 18 SMALL ENGINE REPAIR $30 00 Tuesday evenings 6 45-9:45 p.m (10 weeks) Repair and servicing of small engines, i.e lawnmowers, chain saws NOTE: There must be twelve (12) students enrolled to offer courses. Classes are limited to eighteen (18) students. Recommend registration by phone and appearance for seating the first evening.
