The majority of our customers are billed every other month for their electricity and pay the total amount of that bill when it is received.
However, all residential customers may now choose to be billed under our monthly “Uniform Payment Plan.”
Under this plan, we estimate the total annual charges for your electric service and determine from this your “monthly payment” amount. You then receive an electric bill for the same amount every month, thus leveling out seasonally high bills.
If at the end of a twelve month period, your charges for electric service actually used total to less than you have paid, we will either credit your account or, if you prefer, refund the difference to you. Should these charges be more than you have paid, we will bill you for the difference.
