Sewer Plans

The Sperryville sewer system njsved a step closer to completion wi$h the Rappahannock Water and Sewer Authority’s approval two weeks ago of plans submitted by the engineering firm.
Maurice Biddle, chairman of the WSA. reported that the plans have now been forwarded to the Health Department and State Water Control Board.. After getting the okay from state authorities, they will be sent on to the Corps of Engineers and the Departments of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and Health, Education and Welfare (HEW) for approval.
Biddle estimated that the sewer system project will be advertized for construction bids on about May 15. He noted that the project can’t go out for bids until enginnering plans have been approved by all state and federal agencies involved.
