He pointed out file cabinets stuffed with research materials but wouldn't say anything more except that he sigped the contract for his newest effort when he turned in the First half of the manuscript for “Saved!.”
He'll also stay on his mountain top, forsaking the fast-paced glitter of New York life. “During the 60’s and 70’s, I was one of those young idealists. I wasn't really an activist but I was one of the liberal young people out to change the world. Then I realized that it wasn’t going to change so I settled for moving up here and changing my own private world.
"Every place has its hassles. I’m here because I like the hassles here compared to the hassles in other places,” Hoffer concluded.
