Worley Home
Burglarized
The home of Arthur T. Worley on Route 616 in the Castleton area was broken into and burglarized between January 19 and 28. according to Sheriff W. A. Buntin, who said it’s very possible it happened on the 25th.
The estimated value of goods taken is in excess of $5000, said the Sheriff and included an antique china cupboard, three-legged table, old brass clock, cast iron pot, an RCA color television, other furniture, garden tiller, new Sears Craftsman lawn mower, rotary push type of electric drill.
The house is right on the side of the road and the truck or conveyance in which the articles were hauled away would have been parked practically in the road, according to Buntin. The Sheriff asks anyone who might have seen any activity in that area to please contact him.
