Dr. and Mrs. W. J. Bloomer recently spent a week in Miami, Fla. attending the annual convention of secondary school principals. Mrs. Bloomer is the secretary of the Virginia organization.
Mr. and Mrs. W. G. Roberson of Newport News were weekend guests of their daughter, Mrs. Judy Harrison, Kevin and Karen.
Mrs. T. M. Johnston entertained with two tables of bridge Friday evening. Guests included Mr. and Mrs. A. H.Keyser and Mrs. Rlmo Flynt of Washington, Mrs. Frances Tabler, Mrs. CKrroll Quaintance, Mrs. Brown Miller, Mrs. Mary Quaintance. Prizes were won by Mrs.Carroll Quaintance, Mrs. Flynt and Mrs. Tabler.
