Jennifer Anne Scherschel of Flint Hill was RandolphMacon Academy’s only perfect 4.00 scholar during the school’s second grading period which ended recently.
Scherschel, an eighthgrader who transferred to the Academy this year from Rappahannock Elementary School, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph J. Scherschel. Her all-A grades led three other Rappahannock students who also earned academic honors during the grading period.
Gregory Whitney Swaim, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles B. Swaim of Flint Hill, was named to the Special Honor Roll For Scholastic Excellence. A junior, he compiled a 3.83 grade-point average.
