Curtis
Services for Thomas Francis Curtis Jr.. 66, of Rixeyville were conducted Friday at Clore Funeral Home by the Rev. Marvin Cook. Burial was in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Curtis died Wednesday, January 23, 1980, at University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville.
He was a native of Culpeper County, the son of the late Thomas F. Curtis Sr., and Maude Cooke Curtis. He was the retired owner of Curtis Grocery and a postal employee at Rixeyville.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Grace Parr Curtis of Rixeyville; two daughters, Mrs. Diane C. Lohr of Rixeyville and Mrs. Donna C. Smith of Culpeper; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Peggy R. Bowen of Amissville and Mrs. Barbara R. Mountjoy of Warrenton; a stepson, Frank L. Rosenberger of Remington; four sisters. Mrs. Byrdie C. Brown of Arlington, Mrs. Ollie C. O'Bannon, Mrs. Ray C. Turner and Mrs. Lucille C. Snead, all of Rixeyville; 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
