Coppage
James Haywood Coppage, 82, of Rixeyville died January 29, 1980 in the University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville. He was the son of the late Edward and Virginia Racer Coppage.
He was a farmer,, a member and lay speaker of the Eggbornsville Pentecostal Church. His wife was the late Lena Gay Horton Coppage.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Dessie Lucas of Rixeyville and Mrs. Linda Smith of Virginia Beach; a brother, Luther Coppage of Marshall; and two granddaughters.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, today, at 2:30 p.m. at the Geest Funeral Home chapel conducted by the Rev. Edward Jenkins. The Rev. Lindsey Savage will assist. Interment will be in Washington Masonic Cemetery.
