"Youth For Understanding,” an international student exchange program, is looking for host families to share their homes and daily lives with international high school students for six months or a full year while the student attends local high school.
Students aged 14-18 are carefully selected and matched with host families by regional representatives who provide services, support and guidance during the course of the exchange.
Host families provide room and board and are eligible for a monthly deduction while the student attends' school. Program fees and personal expenses are provided by the student’s natural family and YFU receives partial funding from the International Communication Agency of the U.S. Department of State.
