Wakefield Country Day School held closing exercises Saturday evening, June 14, for the Primary and Grammar schools.
The program began with a procession of students and faculty, followed by the invocation by the Rev. Thomas Gibbs and remarks by Administrator William E. Lynn Jr. After a performance of the Wakefield Chorus and solo by Nicholas Bischoff, academic awards were presented honor students.
The most coveted award of the year, the William E. Lynn Award for Academic Excellence, went to Lauren Wemmer of Front Royal. Billy Germelman of Berryville won the
