Elliott

Mrs. Gertrude Allan Settle Elliott, 82, died Sunday, June 15, 1980, at Sibley Hospital in Washington, D. C., following a long illness.

A funeral service will be held today, Thursday, at 11 a.m. at the Clore Funeral Home Chapel conducted by the Rev. Amos Dodge, assisted by the Rev. David Longobardo. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper.

Mrs. Elliott was a native of Rappahannock tounty and a member of Christian Hope Center. Her parents were the late Broadus and Trudy Hailey Settle.

She is survived by two daughters. Miss Eunice R. Elliott of Washington, D. C„ and Mrs. Genilla R. Kemper of Tucson, Az.; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Updetrove of Alexandria. Mrs. Reva Sowers of Culpeper and Mrs. Katherine Strothers of Fredericksburg; one brother* Alfred Settle of Fairfax and one granddaughter.
